These are great, but having a hard time downloading the files. When I click on download, all the words in the Audio Player window disappear and nothing happens. Is there a trick to downloading to a Mac? Thanks . . .

Click on the file to bring up the little window.  Then, right-click on the "Download MP3" button in the menu and select "Save Link As" and save it to a folder on your computer where you keep your MP3 files.  I saved them all to the same general folder set up just for this, then imported them into my Audio program (I use Media Monkey to play MP3s on my computer) .

Edited:  oops, I just noticed you said "Mac" so I don't know if the same applies.  I'm using Windows Vista.  You might try that though!

Mark, You are SO AWESOME!!!!      The thing I really like about these tracks is that they are not for just banjo.  I can learn guitar, mando, dobro or fiddle break.  I can start slow and build speed up to normal.  You could even practice a piccolo break if you wanted.  LOL!!  

I don't know if I'll ever get to the point where I can play the tracks at "Normal" speed.  I've only been playing banjo for about 8 weeks now but  can hit the med speed on a few.  Almost hit normal speed on cripple creek.  Start tensing up when I try.. Gotta keep trying though...

I'm sure all the other Hangouts will be linking back to these..

 Good to see you getting benefit from these, that was the intention,I'm a fairly new picker myself and found Band in the Box the best thing that i spent my cash on this year

if you know the chord progressions to a song the possibility are endless and it's dead easy to use!

Glad to help Jon!  Heaven knows I am not a computer genius by any stretch of the imagination, so I'm glad that worked for you.  We can chalk it up to sheer blind luck on my part for suggesting it!  

And HickorySmoke...I too use these tracks for playing along with my guitar.  I don't even own a banjo, I'm just here from "the dark side" because there is so little action on the guitar flatpicker's forum compared to this place!
