I screwed up and didn’t take a picture, but we just had a Great Yooper Breakfast overlooking the gorgeous view of da bay this morning!!!
Made a big pan of Pannukakku (aka) Yooper Finnish Pancake.
Mrs. Slammer made some wild blueberry sauce for a topping and I scored some bacon yesterday for $1.99 lb . I now know why the bacon was $1.99 as the person at the helm of the slicing machine should look for work elsewhere!!! Tasted great but did not resemble slices or strips of bacon.
We opened up our dining room in da 2 story 3 season sunroom yesterday and this is where we enjoy our meals when it’s not 20 below!!!

REAL ROAST BEEF Grinders tanight..!

Open Hot Roast Beef..n..gravy sammiches too..

Dinner tonight:
Al: hot open face roast beef sandwich
Liz: crackers and cheese, smoked salmon, charcuterie meats

After I was done eating Liz’ little snack plate, I would demolish that hot roast beef sammich and would lick the plate clean when no one was lookin!!!

Patty melt..

Patty melts - cheeseburgers on toast. In this case, rye toast and grilled onions. All the condiments.

Who doesn’t like a Great Patty Melt??? As a kid, there was a restaurant just outside Milwaukee in Menominee Falls called Dutchland Dairy. ( Fellow BHO member Mike Gregory aka Mike Gregory) would probably remember this place!!! Anywho…………
Had my first Patty melt there along with their famous Hill or Mountain of Haystack onions………a meal in itself!! Nobody in our area serves one except one place and it literally sucked!!!

Sausage, onion, broccoli, and cheddar quiche. Salad.

A perfectly grilled cowboy steak with Hot Dirty Bird and Montreal seasoning. Sauteed green beans with garlic and walnuts.

Liz grilled it....

Made a big pot of Zuppa Toscana and crusty baguette for supper tonight. Nice hot soup on a cold night and watching it FREAKING SNOW while we were eating dinner.
