You & Liz are welcome anytime. However, give me enough warning to make sure I have the necessary ingredients on hand. Barring that, would you like the recipe?

Saturday night. Spent day pulling carpet, pulling tack strip and pad. (No carpet left in house.) Took a nap, then fixed pisco sours, then cooked.
Salmon, rice, asparagus, and a batch of: butter/lemon/caper/garlic/parsley quick sauce. Drizzled it over everything! Brad

Thank you,  it's a far cry from when I was a 15 year old staff cook for the councilor staff at a wilderness camp.  It was not pretty, and as far as I know, we never had a sickness outbreak from our cooking and cleaning.
Marilyn had much to do with civilizing this young Daniel Boone and jock.

I've been eating grilled ham n cheese sandwiches like there's no tomorrow.

Tonight's feast was homemade beef stew with carrots and tatoes. Chemo tomorrow hopefully if bloodwork is good, so wanted to make a big pot of something for leftovers! :)

Grill-baked (with apple chip smoke) chicken thighs and also the potatoes. Microwaved in the husk corn, last of our garden tomatoes, and leftover grilled tomato cups stuffed with diced cauliflower. Brad

Last night, leftover chicken thighs, leftover fresh sliced tomatoes, and fresh tarragon green beans.
I am thinking about a batch of spaghetti and meatballs, in the next day or so?

Last night we enjoyed the “fruits of my labor.” Spaghetti and meatballs. A package of Italian spaghetti pasta. Sauce built on a large can of Italian plum tomatoes in sauce. Hand squished, herbs from the garden, other spices and seasonings, along with a big pour of Barbara wine. Simmered and reduced for a couple of hours. I made the meatballs earlier in the day, with ground beef, garden herbs, Panko. Etc. leftover breads from the freezer. The bottle of Barbara red wine. Brad. (It’s been a few years since I made a red sauce and meatballs, and with the results I plan to bump them up in the rotation. My wife gave me the thumbs up, since the meatballs were not “hockey pucks”-as her grandmother called hard tough meatballs.)
