I heard commentators claim that Marchessault was going for the puck. Really? If the puck was that high he'd have been called for a high stick contact with the puck. It just looked like a vicious two-handed slash.

Good for Perry to come back from the room to congratulate the team - with blood still on his face. Kind of a good bit of psychological warfare, too.

.... otoh, some TV analyst/commentator/??? who had never played beyond minor or beer league hockey was analyzing/commenting on/????  the toughness of some NHLer or other.  That dude we shan't mention responded that, "....compared to (the analyst), ALL NHLers are tough."

Re. Galley, Tabler, etc.... if we come up with a 1-10 scale to rate "babbling," should 10 be a "better" babbler than a 1 ? ..... i.e. is a "better" babbler more annoying?    [One of my oft-repeated comments... to my wife who's paying absolutely no attention:  "C'mon, ______ , you're babbling."

Edit:   .....and as a bonus there's still an hour of SNB left.  

1 is the most annoying babbler,, 10 is the lamest. Most fall in the 1,2 or 9,10 categories.

Reminds me of our Lac Du Bonnet Huskies fastball team. We'd start warm-up with everybody paired off and throwing windmill for a few minutes before breaking off into more specific drills. Alas, [or maybe fortunately?] come game time only a couple had what it took to actually pitch.  Other local/regional teams didn't do it that way.... I dunno about other areas.
