I've currently been working on getting all my 9 'Clawhammer From Scratch' tunes up to an easy 144bpm(72 bpm cut time).
I'm nearly there, just ironing out occasional mistakes on Year of Jubilo but will be there in a couple of days.
My next step is to get this up to 160bpm. However I'm going to go about this in an unconventional way in order to give myself some extra interest.
What I'm going to build towards is being able to video record myself playing all tunes through at 144bpm. As videoing makes things much harder(for me), I figure this will not only clean everything up completely beyond doubt, but will also mean 'offscreen' I should be much faster.
I'll post the resultant 'mix video' when I'm done.
On a separate note, I ramped up my simplified Mississippi Sawyer today and was able to hash through at 200/100 bpm which is my 'record'. So I've proved to myself that hand-speed is there and I just need to get a handle on each tune.
