I've, owned quite a few Banjos over the years.Huber Banjos are one of the if not the best Mastertone reproductions being built. Consistency in workmanship and tone are top notch. How much better can the new ring and rim be?

	davepicks5 says: 1/21/2012 4:57:40 PM It is a question of degree of improvement. You will feel the difference more that hear it out in front. It gives you the "presence" of a prewar flathead. It is a sound you can feel, if that makes sense. David
	Scott Wilson says: 1/21/2012 5:50:45 PM I'm really enjoying the truetone upgrade to my Ron Block this last month since I got it back from Huber. It would be great to be able to have your banjo with the old ring/rim being played right along side your banjo with the new ring/rim but you can't. I drove an hour and a half to a guy south of me who had the upgrade to see/play/hear it so I could make an informed decision about the upgrade... it was a kalamazoo so I had to take that into consideration but I could hear a substantial difference.
	double E says: 1/22/2012 12:09:01 PM I have had and played both.Truetone and Vintage. Have a Vintage Wreath Trutone right now that I really like. I have a TB1 conversion that I just got back a couple of months ago. I now realize what the prewar thing is all about. But, the new Truetone's are real close! Steve is making some awesome banjos.
