Hi, there!

So glad to see a group for us ladies. I just started playing end of March and it's slow going, but I'm really enjoying myself. I'm originally from Florida, but now living in Delaware(Dela-where?). Always wondered if there were any other women out there who played or wanted to play the banjo, and I'm glad I found ya'll!

	Gingher says: 5/19/2014 11:43:07 AM Glad you found us sistah! I'm with you on the slow going at first, but it keeps getting better--especially if you can find a teacher in your area. If you can't find anyone around you, I know BanjoBelle gives live lessons via Skype (I think that's how she does it).

	Maisiedoodle says: 5/26/2014 6:35:30 PM I know! I don't expect to be a breakthrough talent, but if I can get to the point where I can pick away on my banjo without my neighbors calling the cops would be great! Not looking to revolutionize the banjo, but to enjoy it and pass that love to my kids.
	Gingher says: 5/26/2014 6:42:28 PM Haha I know exactly what you mean! When I was a kid I played the oboe and I'd be in my room practicing diligently and my dad would burst in and yell "Who's sawing a duck in half in here?!"
