Now there's a combo I hadn't thought of, but who doesn't like a Cheeseburger and a Chocolate Shake?

Chili Dogs, Crinkle Cut Fries, Fruit Salad and Chips with Pico de Gallo. Should'a had some Orange Jello with that, too!

Well, I am going to support the burger and shake thing.  As a kid my favorite meal was a cheap fast food cheeseburger with a strawberry shake.  I even used the  shake to dip the burger.  Brad

This evening we started out with: pate', crackers, and a fine glass of cab.  We are presently designing dinner from whatever leftovers are in the fridge.

Al we are close, in our fine dining. After our “pate’” and crackers, we hacked a faux poutine from leftovers fries (re-crisped in skillet), leftover Mississippi pot roast (re-flavored), and a quick gravy. Brad

I showed this to my wife.  She says, "Be still my heart!"   Early in our marriage, about 45 years ago, Marilyn spent the summer with her mother's family in the Saarland.  She learned well, all that you speak and cook.  Prost! My friend.  Brad

By tomorrow yesterday's leftovers will become magically transformed into a magnificent Jambalaya, accompanied by Yams, Cauliflower, & red beans & of course, rice. Not to mention more Malbec. Perhaps even a wee dram or two of single malt.

I'm gonna try something different today. Turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, yams, cranberry sauce, bread rolls, green bean casserole, and for dessert, pumpkin pie.

Marinated and grilled deer backstrap. Marinade was made of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and wocestershire sauce. Marinated over night, then grilled on the Weber gas grill to medium rare.

My step father lives in Southeast Missouri. He is 85 and still hunting deer in the woods. He gave me the deer loin.

Gary is a retired farmer from the Bootheel of Missouri.

Tonight is the Thanksgiving Sandwich! Leftover turkey, dressing, gravy, and cranberry sauce piled on a ciabatta bun. That is always better than the plate lunch version.

Chicken sandwiches: toasted bulkie rolls, baked chicken tenders dipped first in egg, then crumbs and Hot Dirty Bird, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. No pics, but better than Popeyes!
