Our small family's big Easter dinner fixins.  I cooked the lamb, the ham, and a  savory pineapple casserole.  Lamb marinated and rotisserie'd,  ham 12 hr sous vide finished with a brown sugar-coke-lemon glaze.

Toasted pizza sandwiches, maybe a glass of Chilean red, a mug of Tanqueray Rangpur Lime & Tonic as a confidence builder.

Instead of making ice cubes for drinks, I buy bags of frozen fruit. Raspberries, blue berries, mango slices, whole strawberries and medleys of blueberries, peach slices and strawberries.
Same price as the little boxes of fresh and moldy fruit from Peru, bigger amounts, no bad stuff. So I fill a 16 oz glass with frozen fruit. I might cut the peach slices in half, some of the strawberries into 4 bits, they are HUGE! Then the drink fills in the cracks.
The only time that I'll serve you a drink with a fork. It's extremely cold and tastes really nice.

I bought a set of 6 hammered copper "Moscow Mule" mugs. Not as thick copper and heavy as I expected. Nice shape and size for things like cans of Club Soda.

This is where we get our Ice cream fix! Pistachio dark chocolate is our go to! Good thing is they are just enough to be really good & not too bad.

They have lots of other good stuff in stores here too!

Bob, I just went to that Chapmans site you posted and almost spit my drink out reading the ingredients!!! Guess I never knew how particular you Canucks we’re about your milk !!! I’m assuming the “100% Canadian Milk” comes from some of the friendliest damn cows EVER !!! I’m also assuming they have to leave the lights in the barn on all night long !!! Please don’t be offended, but it struck me funny and I won’t ever look at milk the same way again. I’m dying here…….LMAO !!!

Sunday night is usually pizza night at our house and tonight’s homemade pie did not disappoint!!! Cheese , sweet fennel sausage, mushrooms and onions. I make my own pizza almost every other week. Take out pizza from out local favorite is awesome but prices are getting crazy , as is everything!!! I added up the cost of all the ingredients for my homemade pie that we will get 2 meals out of and it was $13.48 . Same ingredient pizza at our favorite take out joint that is not quite as big is…. $27.60 . It’s damn good and a nice change in flavor and it’s nice not to have to cook once in a while, but DAMN!!!   I think the reason they can charge so much is because the I believe the cheese is made with 100% American Milk !!! Wink Wink
Sorry Bob, couldn’t help myself !!!

Nope, no ranch on this guys pizza !!! I have some good ham leftover from Easter in the freezer and going to have to do a ham , garlic and pineapple pizza. Garlic ham is amazing and I do like the salty / sweet with the pineapple. Love pineapple in my salads lately too. Pineapple and blue cheese is a winner!!!
