That's the link to the recipe. It's basically a one-pot mac and cheese with chicken, peppers, onions, and garlic. The pasta is cooked in the same pot as all the other ingredients. Pretty not too bad!I must be getting the wrong kind of chicken. Every time I saute chicken the pan fills with water. Same with ground meat. It's frustrating.
It is getting more difficult to find fresh (not water injected) chicken. I like to to take the chicken pieces, whole, or de-boned, and take them out of the wrapping, and day out or night before and let them dry/dewater a bit in a fridge, and still wrap i some paper towel and squeezing some to get more water. Or perhaps you could pre-cook the meat just a bit in another on a rack over a pan in the oven to get some water out, then finish cooking in your recipe? I have that problem with saute'-ing mushrooms. l like to de-water them a bit first then drain then add the butter to saute'. Brad

Forgot to take pics, but had a lemon garlic shrimp pasta with mushrooms.
Lemon juice, zest, garlic, olive oil, butter, S&P, parsley and pasta water.
Light and fresh, especially made with olive oil we brought back from Sicily and topped with Parmigiano Reggiano I brought back from Italy !!! Great summer time meal, even though it’s 46 degrees here right now!!!

I found an old oil tank welded to a homemade trailer in my woods. It's tempting to try to turn it into a grill, as the tank seems to be empty, but I don't know what kind of nasty stuff may still be in there, or how to get rid of it.

Burn it...
Yesterday it was damn hot in da U.P. , so Mrs. Slammer and I hit da beaches up on Lake Superior. Water was damn cold a numbing but had to go in to ward off the black flies!!! Worst I’ve ever seen them!!! Anywho……..we ended up getting fresh fried Whitefish baskets from Mattson’s Fishery / Captain Ron’s food truck in Munising, Mi.
$13.00 for 3 pieces of whitefish or lake trout, fries, coleslaw and tarter sauce.
Freshly fantastic meal at a great price. Too bad the flies were so bad we had to eat in da car!!! Also brought 5 lbs of filets home for da freezer. Can’t live on bluegills, perch and walleye alone!!!
If you look up Mattson’s Fishery /Captain Ron, they were on Gordon Ramsay’s show and features Captain Ron before he passed.
Slammer!!!
