Waiting on an extractor for it now..

Made n installed the cocking indicator..
Made it from a cotter pin...
Also Made a more better 297-230 morris cartridge front a 22 hornet brass..
Also Made that barrel as so I can remove the fired cartridge..
Don't wanna make an extractor for it..

Me solution to not doing an extractor..
Cut a small notch for a pry tool from the top..

Works.. ;0)

Prepared the stock bolt fer the great anticipation of the stock delivery... :0)

Oh..cut the slot fer the screw stick....

Stock is on.. :0)

Fairly short lenth of pull tho..

Speedometer fer 310 cadet..
Apx 1400 fps right where it should be for the heeled bullet..

Peace of ash wood for the forarm..
Helled on with a brass bolt n nut...

Nice n solid.. :0)

Scope is on ..gotta scrounge..for some taller scope rings tho..

New extractor/ejector is in ..
Slightly higher scope mounts..
Test fired..kinda zeroed..

Too rainy to do mutch elese..

Here is an interesting project..

When I bough all the internals..for the martini cadet..
Unbeknownst to me the extractor was cut fer a 44-40 wcf..
I have a 44mag barrel..I figger if I cut a bit less than a half inch off the chamber I can re cut to 44-40 wcf..

Be a neet project... :0)

I’m a .44 mag guy but don’t do any of my own reloading. Did years ago with help but don’t own my own stuff. Love my Ruger Super RedHawk with 9.5” barrel and my Ruger .44 Carbine rifle. One pocket of bullets for 2 guns!!!

I couldn't...take care of meself..when i was down n...out with the heart stuff...
