Made little round ball loads..fer small game.. Lee n.5 dipper n red dot powder.. Use the funnel as a hand press to seat the ball..works good.
Had to pull the gun apart to adjust the firing pin strike to center it more.. Mutch more betta now..way more reliable..with rifle primers.. When it hit off center before..sometimes it would fail to fire..
Just took a little file work on the cocking lever..n presto...works great.. :0)
Not a new build, but Ive been messing with some heavy weight 30-06 loads for moose vs my 300 Win Mag. The 30-06 is a Rem 7400 carbine with the 18.5" barrel. Its nice for tight quarters, but I wanted a heavy bullet. I ended up with 55gr IMR 4831 under a Hornady 220GR round nosed Interlock. I am amazed with the accuracy, given a 18.5" barrel on a Rem 7400...100 yard 1.5" 3 shot group. Not benchrest but for under 200 yards for moose...should work.

In this case not for speed but rather to bring the diamiter up a coupla thousands of an inch.. Turns out the 44 cal bore i have is a tad on the large side of things.. So i am hopin that these will ..fit..a bit better.. N fly strait better..
