The big “Rempire State Building” ends up crashing to the ice again. Notice he started throwing punched before Y was even ready. With his size and reach he could be a decent defenceman if he decided to leave the ring,, with much sweat & toil ….
Shocking pink and off-green ,, hmm , with trademark pigeon toes

If the BHO permitted more than a "like" - specifically, a LOVE and LOL, I woulda hit that.
BTW, you're reading into the pigeon toes thing, based on a previous image, which was clearly a snap of the girl stepping forward towards the camera.
Besides, she could be missing a foot from the knees downwards and I'd still be in love. It's the eyes. Gosh, what eyes. Well, not entirely. But mostly the eyes.
I don't have any "real" evidence, but I "wonder" whether Rempe has the requisite smarts to play defense at the NHL level. Sweat and toil will improve the physical aspects, but maybe it's kinda like learning banjo ... ya can't entirely compensate for an innate dearth of talent .... i.e. an improved sow's ear, but no silk purse, if you will.
Without knowing his ice-time per game, other than 2023-24 his PIM/game doesn't look noteworthy, so it looks like he wasn't assigned the "role" in junior, as happens 'way too often, IMNSHumbleO. https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=216250
Well, I’m glad they didn’t gloss over the Tyler Myers “misdemeanor on ice” - he was awarded 3 games in the Bettman gaol

Highlight? ... lowlight?? I dunno.
Don't know anything else about it. Salient (?) part [i.e. goalies a bit "different"] about :05 - :09.
It came from Alex Ovechkin Fanpage >> my Facebook.

340 million of youse guys and every time you boil water you gotta get it to 212 degrees instead of only 100 degrees!! ![]()

Pish tosh, dear lad. Although you may be technically correct, you're overlooking the fact that wasting energy is our birthright as 'Murricans.

Hmm,, I wonder if Jim Cornelison is moving to Montreal and hankering for a Job at the Bell Centre

I dunno, but I figure the job openings at the Bell Center are, or should be, a top tier defenseman and a couple of forwards whose ears aren't down at the height of most other players' elbows. But Cornelison sounds okay ... I usually try to have something else to do during the opening festivities ... got tired of the b.s., up-chuck-worthy land acknowledgments [at least for games in my part of the world].
[ ... and, fwiw, we'll not countenance* any quasi-political stuff in E-BcDCf,&osh/l.]
* where's DC when ya need him? ![]()
Ok then, “you” people were beat by us whites so none of this “it’s your land” that we’re on!
In other news, players are clued in now about their incessant use of the word “obviously” .

Further to the discussion below, your man Geekie is pretty much en fuego right now. He's been playing first line with Zacha and Pastrnak. He's currently at 15 goals/11 assists for 26 points. His career high was last season with 17 goals, so he's on a great pace to crush that. In the last five games, his numbers look like this:

.... Hellebuyck was winning his 300th. on another channel, so, as is typical, I "watched" (?) bits-and-pieces.
Your man Geekie is most assuredly NOT part of the problem. Nobody ever expected him to be a superstar, and he's not, but he's solid, dependable and steady. Tied for 6th overall in points. Keeps his nose clean with minimal time in the bin.
No, the underperformance has come from players we would expect to get more from.
The Blackhawks ,, hmm, giving a poke at Hesgeth? Two female service people being honoured at The United Center.
(maybe this post will escape the roving eyes of BHO mods…,, no worse than the original theme of this august thread ; poppies, immigrants, gub’m’nt military, blah, blah, blah)

This popped up on my Facebook feed just now. I trust "everybody" will be interested, so I figured I'd pass it along [secure in the knowledge that nobody would "shoot the messenger."
It came from a site called Alberta Proud >> my Facebook >> BHO.
"A true Canadian icon, legend, and voice of hockey. Wishing you a fantastic day filled with all the respect and admiration you’ve earned over the years. Cheers to you, Don!"

Oohhh no, Owen,,, I've donned (!) my tinfoil hat and with me being an Albertan, "they" blocked yours for a few moments until mine was "approved". ("they" being Anthony's buddies,,, maybe)
