You say toe-may-toe; I say toe-mah-toe. You say jargon; I say inane babble.
Mentioning Yogi along side the current crop of boobs is like comparing Secretariat to a broken down plow horse, IMNSHumbleO. ![]()
But, but, but, in the top of the 7th., whoever's announcing did note that "the game isn't over yet."
More importantly:

Ya ... a pic of Yogi ^^, leading off [unintentional pun?] each page would be a big improvement ... with OR without make-up!! I give up [fer now]. ![]()
Maybe I should wait a bit ... "It's not over 'til it's over." ... but to me it looks like the Dodgers have more guys willing/able to rise to the occasion.

Has Boone provided his rationale? It's seen periodically, and I used to think it generally was a manger trying to demonstrate his brilliance, but then with all the metrics (?) .... third time thru the order and all that ..... I dunno. The "domino effect" aspect is intriguing ... sounds like the team was "questioning" Boone's judgment ... possibly not for the first time??? .... "WTF?!?! Not again!?!?" Otoh, he's been around long enuff that there shouldn't be too many surprises.
Maybe it's a good thing that I generally don't pay much mind to the analyses .... "When I'm hungry, I eats. When I'm tired I sleeps. When I thinks, my head hurts."
Ya never can tell,, geez, the humble, sensitive side goes into hiding….

^^, ya, I guess [Actually I don't mind the Dodgers .... probably my next-to-the-Yankees favorite team.] I don't recall seeing an inning like THAT ONE since playing L.L. in Togo ... birthplace of Ted Hampson, btw.] But, if I'm not mistaken pitchers and catchers report in about 90 days ... "Go Yankees, Go!!"

Back in the day, we Montreal folks rooted for the Dodgers, due to their connection with their farm team, the Montreal Royals. It was Jackie Robinson's first professional team. We haven't forgotten.

I've become a bit of an old Brooklyn Dodger fan
... and just so as to not completely abandon DC ..... this from The Hockey News >> Hockey Beast >> my Facebook >> BHO:
Barry Beck: ”One time, in Colorado, Don Cherry’s dog Blue came waddling into our locker room. He came in and, you know how those dogs do it, he rubbed his butt on the floor - right in front of my locker, in the area I used to do push-ups. So I gave Blue a little whack with my stick and he ran yelping down the hall back to Don’s office. Then Don came in and asked who did it? We kind of looked around, said we didn’t know. The next day I got traded to New York.”
... It didn't concern immigrants, and though I can't recall the exact circumstances, just yesterday my wife uttered that infamous phrase, "It wouldn't hurt them to wear a poppy." I offered up, "You can't say that!" She's not a sports fan, but I'm pretty sure "she knew."
Yep! "Those people" is my other you-can't-say-that for my wife. But we were using it before DC popularized (?) it. We picked it up from other people using it to prescribe courses of action for FN people ... eg. "Those people should ....... " and/or "Why don't those people just ....... ?" It's gotten to the point of me sometimes [depending on the audience] just using it as a kinda catch-all, tongue-in-cheek substitute for FN.
