you are doing a great service to all us banjo enthusiasts, heck this site got me back into playing after 25 yrs. and Ive since bought two banjos !As far as totw goes ,since its a learning aid ,how bout focusing on the most popular tunes one might find at a local jam.Thanks again

While I understand and appreciate what Vince says about wanting popular jam tunes, I also appreciate TOTW when it brings me things I can enjoy picking on the porch for my own enjoyment.  With 52 weeks in the year, I'm glad there's room for both "flavors" of music.  (And thanks for "Ashokan Farewell", definitely a wistful back-porch pickin' tune!)

Hi Eric:

Any way to download the MP3 backing tracks? The controls on the player that pops up don't work at all in my Chrome browser. The track plays but there's no pausing or stopping it.

To download a track, click the "Download MP3" link in the jukebox player window. If that just plays the MP3 for you, try right-clicking and choosing "Save Target As" or something similar to that.

Worked fine on the Mac in Safari using your instructions. Must be Chrome on the windows machine.
