Baptist Shout is an old banjo tune that I've always loved. 2-finger style in the key of E on my OME Juggernaught Jr. 2-finger style

I love coming to the new music posts of BHO first thing in the morning. More often than not I find some choice gem of a tune to kick my day off right.
This morning, that jem is from you! Thank you!

Great version of the tune - it sounds like one of those classic recordings of the perfect play of a wizened mountain banjo player.

Not saying your wizened or anything ... just playing perfectly!

Man, that's nice! You have got the essence of the Jenkins version but in your very own style--incredible.

I introduced my banjo teacher to this website and he loved "Baptist Shout". He was wondering (as well as myself) if anyone knew what key it was in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Very nice playing. Your style is fluid, very clean and has a relaxing, gentle feel. I know you are playing 2 finger here but something about your timing and the overall sound of your banjo reminds me of Kyle Creed.
