I first learned about clawhammer banjo while a student at Mars Hill College. I am always interested in learning more. For years I mainly played three finger style. Recently I have focused on clawhammer almost exclusively. I took a large leap forward in playing after attending a class with Mary Z Cox at the John C Campbell School. I play in a jam group in Atlanta, GA. I derive much joy in playing old time music..
