Borchelt's worried he is going to be locked out any day now -- ;-) -- so we are putting tunes up on my page for awhile. This is our "take" on the Henry Reed version of this old tune. Ken Perlman and Alan Jabbour do a nice rendition of it on their Southern Summits CD.

I have been playing this for years, I think I learned it originally off of a Fennig's album. (Thanks, Mr Pedersen, if I did.) Borchelt learned it from someone here, on the Hangout, I think. Good tune. I'm playing in open G, capoed on 2, Don is playing his short scale Paramount, tuned aEABE.

Don Borchelt and I decided to share the wealth, and put a new tune up on MY page for a change. As usual, I'm playing clawhammer (double-C - up 2) on my OME Columbine -- and Don is fingerpicking on his semi-fretless Tubaphone (open D).
