One day left for packing and preparing for the 25th annual Merle Festival. Should be a big event this year. There is a great line-up of acts you don't want to miss. Our band is doing an outreach Thurs. morning at one of the local elementary schools then it is off to set up the open mic. stage at the festival. The Local Boys will kick off the festival at the open mic stage with a performance. Come on out and sign up to play on the open mic stage with The Local Boys and Tutt Taylor. Also Friday afternoon The Local Boys will be performing on the Cabin stage next to the Main Stage. Come out and watch the show. looking forward to meeting and seeing all my banjo hangout buddies. I will also be doing some shows with a singer songwriter at the open stage at various times through out the week.2 comments

I grew up in Charlotte, NC. I have a degree in Accounting. I have been playng music since I was a child. I play in four different bands and I play in a duet with a song writer. I would love to become a banjo teacher one day because the world needs more banjo players.
