Looks like 2009 was my last blog entry. the time moves faster and faster.
I did get laid off in 2009. That was a bad year to try to find a job. things at the Capital, and around
the country were not improving. Of course, no one would or could admit it, but why would anyone
hire a guy in his 60's, when 100 other younger bucks show up for the same job.
So, for the last 8 years I've been in a "survival" mode. Looks as if I did survive somehow anyway.
While still a struggle to pay for life with low income, Things are OK. We are content to be alive,
eating enough, almost healthy, and have more time to spend.
If fact, I wonder now how I ever found the time to go to work. It's good to stay busy.
God Bless, and Merry Christmas for 2017

I love the different sounds/voices that each different banjo makes. From a fret less home made neck attached to a worn out snare drum, to the power and volume of a genuine"prewar" Mastertone or modern copies. Whether it's the same or different, I love to hear those banjos ring.
