if anyone gets the chance you need to see the interview of roger smith. it really open your eyes to what the early bg guys went thru to further this great music. roger also talks about monroe & bean blossom.roger played for monroe & tells the history of bean blossom. any one that is anybody in bg in indiana was taught by this man. i had the pleasure of learning the banjo from both david hedrick & roger smith. this interview was recorded by david hedrick at rogers home.
