RB-Junior 11084A-3 dates to 1924. This original prewar five-string needs some work. As you can see in the photos, the neck sits crooked on the pot, with the first string partially off the fingerboard as a result. . . it appears to have left the factory that way one hundred and two years ago. The placement of the bracket-shoe holes is also a little off-center relative to the neck. It notes okay except for the first two frets which have very bad buzz, and when fretting the second string at the first fret, it actually notes at the second. A few washers and nuts have been replaced, as has the tailpiece. There's a small puncture in the (10.5") head. This one features the weird multicolored silkscreened "The Gibson" logo inside the rim, and a particularly beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. It comes in a newer soft case. This is a neat piece of Gibson history that deserves to be revived. It's available for $600 including insured UPS shipping to the lower 48. Thanks for looking!
