I haven't been around much latley. The holidays were kinda tough and now I'm nursing a broken left arm. Note to self... make sure and follow instructions when splitting a little giant ladder into two smaller ladders... if you don't... they tend to fall aprt when you get above the 4th step...lol. Anyway, just wanted to say hi to everyone who cares to wonder what is going on in my little corner of Kansas!!

Well let’s see. I grew up in southern Kentucky in the Lake Cumberland area. I did about 11 yrs in the USAF working in the bomb squad then switched over to Air National Guard for about 7 yrs in Intel. I’m brand new trying to learn a string instrument. I can pick up pretty much any brass intrument and get a decent sound and still play bugle for Military Funerals. I have always been an Earl fan and after a trip to Dollywood this past summer, the bluegrass bug bit again and the wife give me the go on finding a banjo. She plays the fiddle and we both dabble with the guitar.
