Howdy folks! I am excited to be learning claw hammer banjo - after several years of wanting to trying it, I'm finally doing it. I've been playing mostly hammered dulcimer for about 13 years, some fiddle for around 8 years, singing most of my life... but strumming and frets are very new, and awkward, territory. But I'm about 3 weeks into it and surprisingly feel hope of eventually being able to play something that is listen-able!
I've been lurking on BHO for some time and I enjoy the environment here. So I'll stop in from time to time.
Susan
