Oh my goodness, shock / horror !. Will your expensive banjo from the states be impounded by US customs because it has mother of pearl inlays ?

Has your chosen export retailer no license and permit number to export mother of pearl ?

I he has that license it will cost you an extra $95 US inspection fee (add exchange rate and gst), And If correct export procedures are not followed your banjo may be impounded ?, oh no my Jo !.

Do you have a cheaper ($95 US inspection fee (add exchange rate and gst) “illegal” export from the US that has not been impounded ?, ..... you “lucky” person you !.

I do not think you have cause to worry,

	5strings3picks1banjo says: 4/18/2017 1:48:15 AM Importing has become a nightmare for the common man. Thats why we should look for quality products and a service provider in our own country. People like Steve who is easy to deal with. No need to wait forever and deal with USA and all the pros and cons. What do you do if there is a problem with the banjo? Do you post it back for a repair? Been there done that with a $300 postage bill just to be told it's normal and not broken. One issue was a ply rim split glue join and another issue was straight maple neck and not the curly neck that was advertised. You should think hard about importing as it may give you a lot of stress.
