Retired from 24 years with the Marines, still working for the Marines on Okinawa.

	5-stringreiny says: 4/30/2012 7:36:33 PM I was in 1stBn, 2d Mar at the time... fell under 9th Marines, at the time commanded by Col Parks. He wound up retiring a 3-star... Think the move will be good for the grunts and the wing, training has become so restricted on the island...
	MiG-19 says: 4/30/2012 8:02:34 PM I worked for Col Parks as well as his Air Officer when I was there. He is a great guy. Training is restricted, but there's no place in the Pacific that has what is offered here. With a little imagination, there is still some good training to be had. The ranges and training areas fall under my office.
