I played rock/electric guitar in various garage bands during the 1960's and 70's. During the 1990's, I became interested in Bluegrass music. I'm learning to play the 5 string banjo using videos, books and advice from talented friends. I enjoy playing Scruggs style with some melodic picking too. I pick for "therapy" and fun.The banjo is a great hobby for me and I enjoy jamming with others, whenever possible.
