After owning my VRBG for just over a year now,I believe it just keeps getting better. I thought it still had a bit more to give so I had a friend check the head tension with a drum dial. It sounded good but I thought it might do even better with a bit of tightening .. The head was at about 88 on the dial, raised it to 92 and wow! It became a monster. There was an incredible difference. I have friend that owns a few pre-war Gibson and it can definitely match them in tone. I have played them side by side. 1933,1934,1936 all three all original . They are special but my Huber will match them in tone. Could not be happier.
