Placed my order for a new OB 250 tonight from Ross Nickerson at banjoteacher.com. I play piano, cello, and trombone but this will be my first foray into bluegrass banjo. I'm really excited and can't wait for my package to arrive!

I only know Ross through the internet...but I have purchased a banjo, several books and picks through him! He is an outstanding person whom I admire and appreciate! Be sure to show us some of your pictures when you get it!

I've had it for a week and learned Cripple Creek and Amazing Grace to play at a family gathering for July 4. Most of my time has been spent trying to get the rolls right and learn some basic chords.

He's also just a really nice person. He comes down to Australia each year for regular 3 day banjo camps. I want to try and make it to the next one so I can say hi and get involved with the scene a bit. You will be very happy with your banjo and the speed with which it arrives I am sure!
