Here's the place to post any bugs you find as we're getting the new site working on the new server. Thanks!
schlange - Posted - 01/12/2012: 16:30:14
KE--I'll get right on that! :-)
Time zone issue should be fixed now.
Working on the "Server Error 500" thing right now. I think it's happening whenever an email is being sent... stay tuned!

Eric,
I sent you a pm but got on now. Through out the day and this evening I have either not been able to get on the hangout or when I got there I could not change pages on it. This is the first time I have been able to post since this moringing.

Seriously, Eric, good and fast work getting it back up and done.
Edit: My post showed up oddly high in the thread, and when I tried to add a NEW thread I got a 500 error.

In addition to the missing Food Forum, if you reply to a message including the contents of a previous message, you get an error message.
That's a whole lotta messages, and no food forum. ![]()
But at least the smileys seem to work!

When i tried to go to my homepage I get this message:
schlange - Posted - 01/12/2012: 16:37:18
Whoops. Since I changed the time zone on the server, you all appear to have posted... from the future!!!
banjoy - Posted - 01/12/2012: 16:40:59
Just got back on... don't notice any problems, but the site seems to zip along much faster...
banjoy - Posted - 01/12/2012: 16:42:56
OKAY I JUST DID NOtICE SOMEthING.
I made a post to the thread then when I was returned to the page, the post I just made was not at the bottom.,, instead it was 4 or 5 from the top.
It seems the order of posts is not correct. A server clock / time zone issue?
Like the post below mine shows Posted - 1/12/2012 10:04 PM
And it's only 7:44 PM EST my time. ...
...posts are picking up the time zone from where they were posted from...?
ANOTHER EDIT: I see in another thread that this was fixed, but that post is older than mine, so not fixed yet?
Never mind I thinkI got it now...?

I'm having trouble registering for the Sunday online workshop--keep getting an error message saying Banjo Hangout's taking too long to respond.

Let me try posting a second time: I'm having trouble registering for Sunday's online workshop. I keep getting an error message that says Banjo Hangout's taking too long to respond.
eagleisland - Posted - 01/12/2012: 17:16:06
Looks okay in Safari ion iPad - other than aforementioned sequencing errors.
J-Walk - Posted - 01/12/2012: 17:41:44
There's also a problem in the member pages, with the time calculation for recent posts. Here's a screen capture:

pandjlocke - Posted - 01/12/2012: 18:06:27
No matter what you post to this thread, banjohangout.org/topic/225363/#top , although it says you were the last post, the post by Banjo remains at the bottom with the time he posted it updated.

banjohangout.org/archive/199804 shows the topic title fine in the breadcrumb area, but no posts: "Topic page not found! does not exist. Please contact the webmaster: ..."
Ho C Ying - Posted - 01/12/2012: 18:11:53
I can't go to my Homepage. It shows "404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."
beegee - Posted - 01/12/2012: 18:12:57
banjohanout.org url isn't working. I somehow came into the forum through a link to the forums.
Slingerland - Posted - 01/12/2012: 18:16:16
banjohangout.com usually redirects me to banjohangout.org, but it currently is not working. (I can never remember the .org)
Muddy Roads - Posted - 01/12/2012: 18:17:14

BanjoHangout.com should take you to the site now. Had to fix that.

I'm moving the archives over from the old server to the new right now. It's a lot of data (couple gigs, 100,000+ files) so it'll take a while. But they'll be there soon!
banjoy - Posted - 01/12/2012: 18:24:36
It was working fine then the "Like button started freaking out. Internal Server error 500 just now

This is now fixed. Had to do with an additional security setting in the new version of Windows server we're running. My solution? Turn that setting off!
crishergirl - Posted - 01/12/2012: 18:45:40
Just one small issue, someone on my friends list sent me a message via the hangout, and I've received it about a dozen times to my email so far. We'll see how many times I get it before the night is out, lol! Best of luck.
kmwaters - Posted - 01/12/2012: 19:04:55
Looks good to me. Little while ago it looked disjointed but looks normal now.
kmwaters - Posted - 01/12/2012: 19:06:51
OK - I just posted things looked normal, but then when I clicked on post reply I got a screen that said server error. Went back with browser to hangout main page, clicked on the post from you, Eric, and saw my reply post. So it stuck even though I got the weird server error screen after posting.
erikforgod - Posted - 01/12/2012: 19:08:55
Eric my Cumberland Gap video that I posted is giving me a server error LOL
KE - Posted - 01/12/2012: 19:10:42
Posting a response or starting a thread takes you to a '500 Internal Server Error' page, though the response/thread is actually posted.

J-Walk - Posted - 01/12/2012: 19:13:23
No problems, but the site seems a lot faster. Permanent or temporary?
KE - Posted - 01/12/2012: 19:13:38
Editing a post returns you correctly without the server error message.
J-Walk - Posted - 01/12/2012: 19:14:03
And, of course the 500 error when posting -- which you already know about.
block_or_lam - Posted - 01/12/2012: 20:38:45
Hi Eric--
I have noticed a couple of things. From the browser in chat, I tried to send a message to a friend via his home page, but the window that popped up was the one for searching the membership. I haven't tried this via external browser yet. BTW, I was already signed in, if that makes a difference.
Also, when attempting to post to this thread, I was redirected first to the sign-in page even though I was already signed in.
Thanks!
Laura
