Thanks, it was the perfect amount for 2 people and no leftovers for a change.
Didn’t have any sweet pickle relish for tartar, so I finely chopped some of my sacred Sweet & Heat pickles from Aldi. Game changer!!! I know you like spicy, if you ever see these Sweet & Heat Aldi pickles, grab a few jars. I hoard them and they have a great heat!!!

Last 2 days: pork tenderloin grilled with Jamaican jerk spices, brown sugar, and garlic. Some broccoli stir-fried with mushrooms. Mixed fruit shortcake on canned buns.

Beef ..bean n rice burritos..
With cheese n taco sauce...

Another salad. Today's harvest was a Red Cross butterhead lettuce. Dense inner head, lots of outer leaves.

Added sweet bell pepper, grannysmith apple, dried cranberries, grape tomatos from last year's harvest, feta cheese, and homemade honey mustard dressing.

Enough for several days.  Got too much lettuce these days.

Made a special meal for Cinco de Mayo (aka) my Birthday. Tried one of the New York Strips that I cut up a while back. My compliments to da cow, as it was one of , if not THE best NYS steaks I’ve had. Bbq shrimps and linguine with clams and a salad to accompany. Oh my, my belly is happy and full!!!

Last night we smoked ribs and chicken with a dry rub of Hot Dirty Bird and finished with Rufus Teague sauce. No pics :(

New 50/50 whole wheat/unbleached bread flour sandwich bread. I boogered it up a bit and it still came out fine. Could be a keeper.

Sunday night…roast chicken thighs and roast baby potatoes, bread, and something new…I made a German Carrot and Apple Salad: course shredded mostly carrot-some apple with fresh spoon-shredded ginger, dressed with a lemon juice, honey, oil, the ginger and salt, then garnished with parsley and hazelnuts. This salad was good and a nice change from a more slaw type dressing. Brad
