Last night we had what I consider one of my top 5 favorite meals.
Stewed Mexican pork, Sopa and Mrs. Slammers Cuban beans and fresh tortillas. Very simple ingredients that just work and turn into something special. Not only that, but the house smells amazing!!! If they made a cologne that smelled like the Cuban beans, I would be doused in it !!!

Mrs. Slammer flew the coop for a few days and I’ve been too busy to cook so I took it Old School and had a hankering for cheap college days Tuna Melts!!!
Good tuna , 1/2 mayo and 1/2 MW (don’t start) wheat bread and cheap American cheese slices. Hit the spot and cured the hankering!!!

Hey, no pics , but it was BBQ Pork Chop night at our house too. Roasted red taters n onions and a salad. Couldn’t even finish my chop. Tater and chop wit cheese tomorrow morning . I do love a good pork chop , but haven’t had a good pork steak in a long time. I’m due!!!

Me latest trick fer hotdogs.. are thos flat bread wraps rather than a bun...

Loaded potato skins and a shared BBLT (bagel, bacon, lettuce, and tomato.) And some prefab coleslaw.

Crappy weather here. No fishing or yard work, so might as well make some dough. Detroit style pizza dough that is, for Sunday pizza. Sunday pizza is like a compass for me. Without Sunday pizza , I get all turned around. Pretty rare we miss a Sunday. Friday night fish fry is a close 2nd !!!

Last night we ate leftover spaghetti and meat sauce, featuring chopped up leftover meatloaf. Not bad, but the wine was better! Brad

Asian Blanket Dumplings: basically a pork ball with Asian seasonings, draped in a wonton wrapper, and fried and then steamed.

Thanks for the idea Liz, love me some steamed dumplings!!! I even have wonton wrappers that have been in the fridge since Xmas unopened.
Last night was pot roast I made with a beautiful English roast I threw in da crockpot wit red taters, onions , carrots, a beer red wine and seasoning.
Left the onions in the jus and stick blended it to thicken creating a rich thick onion gravy. Can’t wait for leftovers!!!
