These Remington Rollling Blocks lend themselves to being made into some of the most beautiful firearms you will ever see.
There is a company, Treebone Carving, that makes stocks and forearms for this. They have a website, you can find it easily. There is a photo of a 5 stock duplicator carver, with 5 stocks being cut. High grade wood being used. English walnut, Claro, Black, they are amazing.
These go on to be made into highly prized, competition rifles.
Even if you are not going that route, nothing wrong with just looking at it.

That is very exciting news !
I’m a .45lc fan myself. I only have one, but that’s all you need.
Ruger BlackHawk, 7.5 inch barrel, open sights.

This is so alien to me in the UK!!  even a blank is considered a firearm component and would need to be applied for via the police as though it were as firearm.

You can buy accessories etc but major components aren't available for sale due to our licensing laws.  If I wanted to buy a suppressor from you, I would have to apply to the police to buy a calibre specific suppressor.  If they granted it as OK, I would then get my firearms license re-issued with a 'box' for that suppressor.  We would meet, I would check that you had the suppressor listed on your license (to make sure it is a legally owned one) then you would fill in the details on the box on my license to demonstrate you've transferred it to me.  When we all go home, I tell my police force I have bought it from you, you tell your police force, both police forces check with each other to make sure and I can then go on to play being the silent assassin.

Then, as you have sold your supressor, you now have no legal right to own one so if you wanted to replace it, you would have to apply to the police, you cant simply swap old for new, the same goes for any other major component or the guns themselves.

In other words, they make it so much trouble, the majority of people just say "forget it"!

It is a shame that a country that produces some of the finest firearms in the world restricts their law abiding citizens to that extent.

To be honest, from my perspective, it doesn't restrict us, our rules are strict, and we do we do have the occasional one get through the net, but on the whole, it ensures that our firearms only do go into the hands of the law abiding citizens.

I have absolutely no qualms with how we are regulated, and I completely respect the rules/laws/rights of other countries but I am 100% happy with how things are done here and do not feel subjugated in the slightest.
