The bullet on the left is a Lyman 225438 mold bullet..
N..on the right is a..
Lee Bator bullet..an old design..that is now discontinued..
I scored this 6 cavity mold brand new in the box..on ebay..just this week..been lookin fer one of the fer 4 plus years..
I have a 2 cavity mold of this bullet.. but have bout wore it out.. :0/
Great little .22 bullet..!

Made a few cases today..
N fire formed them..
The first one i fire formed split..
Musta got carried away with the powder... ;0)

But some tweeking n some reform work..
It may just work..
There are ah few more hurdels to overcome on this little project...
This one is prooving..to be a little more involved..

Heh..when i'm done..
It will be just about in the middle of..22lr..n..22 magnum..

Just fun to do..becose i can.. :0)

Well here it is..
A .22 acp rifle...

This one was quite the endevah..
Waiting for a scope n scope mount..
But she shoots..

Made a kinda frint bead..to plink with till the other stuff comes..
Now gonna try to make a reloading die set fer the little creachure..

Made up a small batch of cases..
All fire formed to..

A few casualtys on the way..
Pretty small n delicate cases..

Primer pockets are the weak spot..

To much ..gowompum..
N.. the primers pockets get too loose..

But ovah all workin out ...
Pretty not too bad.. :0)

With just a front bead..knot holes..in the dead tree get hit good..but it is about only 30 feet or so..

It will be fun to speedometer these rounds..n a scope will help with the aiming..

I stepped the case necks to help with extraction..

A little trick i learned on another project..by accident.. ;0)

As the donor barrel was a 22lr rf barrel..

I have a cash of.222 jacked 45gr bullets that shoot good in this gun..too..
Note the bowling pin..
The tiny belly button hole..
Was a.222 jacked bullet at 50 yards..
Tennis balls at that range are easy to hit..
Great little targets.. :0)

Mounted a bushnell 1.5x4.5 scope..
Nice little package..imo..

Now we have a seating n crimp die that is ajustable.. :0)

Loaded a few .222 jacked bullets..
Casing in the top of me hand is all fire formed..

Made a 25 acp barrel..out of a 25 cal pellet gun barrel..n piece of black pipe..
No sights yet..but at 50 yards i can hit the 8" gong reliably..n the 4" gong about 50% of the time...

Have not decided which way to go fer sights ..
Iron or scope..

Nice to know that a guy I like, whose hobby involves GUNPOWDER, had an accident and was not injured!
