Greenbrier, Yes! Yes! This is in D and on the Torque. I'll post audio later of my kindergarten music class singing this song while I play banjo

Excellent tune. Where are you learning these? Lessons? Tab? Recordings? Your torque banjo has a fun, tin-like tambour and a fair amount of sustain, I think. I reminds me a little bit of my old Dobson banjo.

Thanks Doc! I'm learning most of these tunes from Lessons. I take lessons from Ben Townsend, here in West Virginia. He is from the band the fox hunt, if interested you can listen to their clips on itunes. I also study with Tim Bing each June at Allegheny Echoes. Other than that I've learn tunes by ear, listening to people such as Dave Bing, Dave Odell, French Carpenter, Gerry Milnes, Kyle Creed, Fred Cockerham, Lester McCumbers, Glen Smith, Burl Hammons, etc. I'm really going for my own interpretation of a West Virginia melodic style kinda fused with North Carolina overtones.

With the torque converter banjo, there definitely is a lot of sustain and it sure is loud! No need to hammer down on it in a jam. It is nice, because my arm doesn't get as tired. It is awesome to cluck on that banjo too!! I need to get some recordings up with a better mic. The banjo has a much fuller tone in person. It is hard to pick up my tubaphone after playing this banjo.
