This clip is from a jam session at the Maury River Fiddler's Convention (Buena Vista, VA) in 2008. We had a nice Friday night jam and this is a clip from that jam. I am playing a 2008 Stelling Red Fox that I bought in June.

This is from a bedroom recording of a band I played with during my banjo playing days in Raleigh, NC. It was recorded in 1996 on a Tascam 4-track cassete through a Mackie 1604VLZ. Don't remember what mics we used. I think I was playing banjo into an EV20. Was digging through some old archived audio stashed away and found it.

I am trying to learn more about recording and thought Clinch Mountain Backstep would be a good project. I play the mandolin, banjo and resonator guitar parts. Guitar rhythm and Bass are courtesy of the Band In A Box RealBand software. Hope y'all enjoy my arrangement of this classic Bluegrass tune.

I really like June Apple. It is a great tune. The audio was lifted from a video camera that was set up in the corner of a sunroom during a practice session. The audio quality is not the best but was a good jam. It captured all of my stumbles and missed licks quite well though. :) I was playing a 2008 Stelling Red Fox. Frank Bounds -- Banjo, Mark Jones -- Mandolin, Jason Bodenhamer - Guitar, Melanie Bodenhamer -- Bass

This is a tune that I like a lot. It is a recording from a practice session with the band that I play in (36 Degrees North). The audio was pulled off of the video from a hand held video camera. I added some light compression and here it is.
