Favorite Bands/Musicians:
"The Wilders" from KC, MO have to be the most intertaining band I have ever seen. And then there's our band the "Ache'n Back String Band".

Married to Martha White, learning Bass. Son, Nick, plays guitar, banjo, mandolin. Daughter-in-law, Jenney learning fiddle and mandolin. Daughter, Ann, plays fiddle. I play clawhammer banjo. We call ourselves 'The Ache'n Back String Band' but have not played anywhere except at family jams. 3/1/06 update: We now have Ron and Carlin Cain in the band, Mandolin and voical. We have started playing at nursing homes and a couple of restruants. Also played at wife's campaign stops for County Treasurer . 11/06 update: We have be playing at more events. Played at the East Central IL Committee on Ageing Awards Banquet, even got paid well. Also played at a Wedding dinner. Ann and I are playing about every tuesday at the Altamont, IL Opry. Also playing at some church events.
