Well, I've run out of fish and I'm bored. I left the BHO four years ago and started making bowls on a new wood lathe and taking many trips on cruise ships. Now we're well into a the first year of Covid lockdown and looking to at least another year of it, I'm looking for stuff to do. I'm trying to relearn all the banjo and guitar music I worked so hard to learn. Not coming back easily!
I built a small acoustic guitar from a solid body electric guitar kit from ebay. More about that if anyone is interested. And I've always liked the look and feel of the Eastman Whyte Laydie banjo necks from Bernunzio. I almost bought a complete Eastman banjo from Elderly. I was just looking for something to buy. With no cruise trips to spend money on, All our credit cards got paid off and cash is just building up in our savings accounts. I have only one banjo left at home and I don't like it. So I ordered an Eastman neck from Bernunzio, some metal stuff from Goldtone and Stewmac. I'm on my way. Maybe I'll do a blow by blow build log on the Construction forum, just for something to do.
