Popeye said that. And me,too.
I've stopped making banjo rims and building guitars. I sold all my guitar making tools and wood to some students at the Redwing Lutheiry School. And I sold my rim making lathe to a guy in Kansas City.
I just bought an official wood turning lathe and have started turning bowls and little boxes. Lots of fun!
So long and thanks for all the fish.
Dan

Sorry to see you leave making banjo rims and guitars, but I sincerely hope you enjoy and have fun turning bowls and boxes. Sounds like it might make more money than banjo rims, maybe guitars.

I hope that overall you had a positive experience and pride with what you did. I have a ball making jewelry and silversmithing. Still not really profitable. My wife keeps taking anything good I turn out. brad

Follow your bliss, man. If it's not fun anymore, don't do it.Better to have an avocation than obsessions and burdens.

Dan, I am still working on finishing the two banjos I had you make rims for. Hope you're doing well. The banjos are coming along beautifully. Thanks again.
