Ive always wanted to learn how to play the banjo, but too many things stood in my way. One time I even went so far as to borrow a banjo from a friend and I started learning rolls(this was before I had ever heard of clawhammer). I was well on my way to becoming the next sensation when lo and behold I was stopped dead in my tracks by a 73 year old former roller skate queen named Ann. Ann lived across the hall from me, and was the kind of woman who would wear her nightgown all day long no matter what time of day it was. She spent most of her time standing two feet inside her apartment spying on myself and the other neighbors through her screen door. I didn't like it but I also didn't have to heart to tell her that we could SEE her spying on all of us, as she usually did this during the day with the sun shining directly on her door. She complained to the building manager and that was the end of me learning how to play the banjo. Fast forward 6 years and I used some of my tax return to buy myself something that I always wanted. My own BANJO! Now I'm on my way.
