Hi all,
in 2009, i would like to bring my family to the US and take in some sights that would interest my kids (10 & 8 years) as well as maybe a Bluegrass festival or two. I would like some ideas on where we could visit and stay (limited budget). Any feedback would be welcome so if you have some great ideas, let me have them. I'm, new to the 5 string and would like to visit the home of Bluegrass but need to think of my wife and kids too, to make sure they have a good time as well.
I look forward to hearing from you.

PS i live about 1 mile from the famous Wedgewood (pottery) factory in Stoke on Trent, England if you are wondering where i am.

Bought a Rover RB45 5 string Banjo in June / July 08 as part of a beginners 'kit'. Never played an instrument before in my life and waited until the tender age of 42 to start. Love the sound but not that familiar with Banjo music - looking forward to hearing plenty more and hopefully playing some myself.
