I love all kinds of music and really want to learn the clawhammer style so I listen to such talented people as Hobart Smith, Roscoe Holcomb, Pete Steele, Adam Hurt, 16 Horsepower (David Eugene Edwards), Lee Sexton, Dwight Diller, Walt Koken, Mary Cox, Carolina Chocolate Drops and others.

I am just learning clawhammer banjo after 20 years of playing the bass. It is a new and exciting challenge for me. I found a GREAT teacher who is exposing me to all types of techniques and styles that I never thought of learning but still focusing on the clawhammer style.
