After a long wait from the publisher and getting my web site squared, The Great American Banjo Songbook is now available and up on my site www.almundesbanjocollege.com. This book co-authored by me and Beth Mead-Sullivan contains banjo arrangements for 70 pop tunes from the early to mid 1900s. "All of Me," "All The Things You Are," "California, Here I Come," "Embraceable You,""Georgia," - Whew, this list goes on and on. Great composers and their great tunes set to the five-string banjo, three finger style - bluegrass style, and chord styles represented. They are all my favorites and I play as many as I can at my gigs and workshops. Did I mention "Pennies from Heaven."
