   Visited Dan Levenson for a private lesson on 5/27- It was a 4 hr trip there and back, but worth it.

For one, the drive was gorgeous and pretty therapeutic- but the lesson was certainly worth the trip. Plus, Dan is a great teacher. I picked up his book and he completely changed the way my banjo sounds- I'm thrilled.

We put a fiberskin head and a no knot tail piece- I really like the new tone. I really enjoy the style and am looking forward to learning more songs. 1 comment
