My Instruments:
Fender FB 58, home made openback (Recording King pot, Stew Mac Whyte Laydie tone ring, Saga neck...), Mandolin (made & upgraded from kit), tenor ukulele, guitar (like everybody else), Mandola, (the Deering Goodtime openback (to which I added a brass hoop tone ring) has now been sold).
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Wailin' Jennys, Scruggs, Skaggs, Duhks, Seeger, Kingston Trio, Doc Watson, Béla Fleck, Bill Monroe, Stanley Bros, nothing very original, but great stuff.
Have to add John Hartford to this list, now. Just discovered him. Amazing!

Started playing by chance when I had to repair my Dad's banjo about a year ago. Never put it down since.
