I'm a retired mechanical Engineer 76 years old. I tried to play back in the very early 70's but gave up after a few years. When I started to think about retiring I decided to try again. I was lucky enough to find a good teacher (Dennis Cyporyn) when I lived in Michigan. I took 81 lessons from him, most were 2 hours long. You would think I would be a lot better, but Banjo is hard. I practice every day a couple of hours.
