I know I haven't posted for awhile, but I keep an eye on the site daily. I just wanted to let everybody know that my wife Joyce (affectionately known as J-Lo) has been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer in the form of a glioblastoma, the most aggressive brain cancer there is. It is terminal. Life expectancy without treatment is three to six months, with radiation and chemo, 6 to twelve months. Jotce gas chisen no treatment and is currently in hospice care in our home. She probably will not see Christmas; maybe not even Thanksgiving. This is very hard to write and if you are of praying ilk, a nice shout out to the Lord on her behalf would surely be appreciated.
I'll close by saying that Joyce has given this man the best 50 years any man could ever ask for.
I'll try to not make sych a stranger of myself going forward.
Thanks, folks.
I can empathize with you. My husband died of brain cancer nearly 10 years ago. I understand what you're going through. At this point, prayer is about all that will comfort you, if you're a praying person.
Just try to keep her as comfortable as possible and give her lots of love and affection.
If you need someone to converse with, feel free to PM me. Maybe I can help you a little with what you're going through.

I remember you going through that. I have a whole new appreciation of your journey. Thanks for your offer; I might just take you up on that. God bless.

Your wife and yourself are going to be rewarded in a special place. Spending years making life good for a special needs child would be well beyond the scope of many people. Spending your limited spare time feeding the less fortunate on the streets of Seattle would be another impass for most people. Everyone is praying for both of you now. Thank you both for your good works in this world. May you experience the peace that is beyond worldly understanding .
