I've been messing around with the banjo since my dad built me one thirty years ago. I love the sound of clawhammer picking; while I respect bluegrass pickers I like the more versatile, more rhythm-based, and more singable clawhammer style. I'd love to see more clawhammer tabs on this site. I've been playing guitar nearly forty years now, and dulcimer almost as long. God I'm old. I also build gourd banjos. As of August 2008 I am webmaster for the Southern Wisconsin Bluegrass Music Association (SWBMAI). Come check us out at www.swbmai.org!
