I grew up in WV, and, after college and seminary, pastored churches there. Then, following completion of doctoral work, I taught religion and philosophy at a small UM church related college in east Tennessee, for 30+ years. Early on I was influenced by the music of Aunt Jenny Wilson, the Morris Brothers and Frank George. Will always be grateful for that exposure and the opportunity to learn something about their kind of music - albeit later on and not yet to very good effect!
