Product Description

Noam Pikelny released his debut solo album on Rounder Records in 2017. 
'Sugar Maple', which features on the album, is a mid-tempo, melodic banjo solo, which nicely encapsulates many of Pikelny's innovative banjo techniques and compositional quirks. 
I would suggest that this arrangement be considered Advanced banjo, due to the complexity of certain sections. This arrangement will bring you many hours of study pleasure and allow you to get right to the heart of Pikelny's unique sound and approach to banjo writing. I'd say even if you don't learn to play it, analysing this TAB will open up new avenues of banjo playing and composition for you to explore. It is a beautiful masterpiece by a true banjo master. 
Noam Pikelny has seen and played through bar-by-bar, my arrangement of 'Sugar Maple', via his Artistworks online teaching class and told me it was "perfect."
The tuning is standard "Open G - gDGBD"
